Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 3, 2026 · Last updated: June 3, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Wepost, a feature operated by Wefluence ("Wefluence", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects your information when you use Wepost to schedule and publish content to your connected social media accounts (such as Instagram and TikTok).
By connecting an account or using Wepost, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Who We Are
Wepost is a content-scheduling tool provided as part of the Wefluence platform. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at support@wefluence.id.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide
- Account information — your Wefluence user ID, email address, and basic profile details.
- Content — photos, videos, captions, selected platforms, and the publishing times you schedule.
2.2 Information from connected platforms
When you connect a social account, we receive limited information needed to publish on your behalf, including:
- Instagram — your Instagram Business/Creator account ID and an access token granted via Instagram's official login, used solely to publish the content you schedule.
- TikTok — equivalent account identifiers and access tokens, where applicable.
2.3 Information collected automatically
- Technical and log data — limited operational logs (e.g., timestamps, error events) used to run and secure the service.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To schedule and publish your content to the accounts you connect, at the times you choose.
- To display the status of your posts (scheduled, sending, published, failed) and the resulting content links.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve the service.
- To communicate with you about your account or service issues.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use data obtained through platform APIs for advertising or any purpose other than providing the scheduling and publishing features you request.
4. Platform Data & Limited Use
Our access to and use of information obtained through the Instagram and Meta APIs complies with the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies, and our use of TikTok APIs complies with the TikTok Developer Terms of Service. We request only the permissions required to provide the service (for Instagram: instagram_business_basic and instagram_business_content_publish). We use this data only to deliver the features you explicitly request and retain it only as long as necessary.
5. How We Share Information
We share information only as necessary to provide the service:
- Social platforms (Meta/Instagram, TikTok) — to publish the content you schedule.
- Infrastructure providers — Google Firebase (Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions) for hosting, storage, and processing.
- Legal compliance — where required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
We do not share your information with any other third parties for their own marketing purposes.
6. Data Storage & Security
- Data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure.
- Access tokens are stored server-side only and are never exposed to the client/device.
- Media awaiting publication is stored temporarily and automatically deleted after the post is successfully published.
- We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We keep your information only for as long as needed to provide the service or as required by law. Scheduled-post records and connection status are retained while your account remains connected; access tokens are removed when you disconnect or when they expire.
8. Your Rights & Choices
- Access & correction — you may request a copy or correction of your personal data.
- Withdraw consent — you may disconnect a social account at any time, which stops further publishing and removes the stored token.
- Deletion — you may request deletion of your data (see Section 9).
Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable laws (e.g., GDPR). To exercise any right, contact support@wefluence.id.
9. Data Deletion Instructions
To delete your data or revoke access:
- In the app: open Wepost → Connect Accounts → Disconnect to revoke the connection and delete the stored access token.
- By email: send a request to support@wefluence.id with the subject "Wepost Data Deletion", including your account ID or username. We will delete the associated data within 30 days.
- From Instagram: you may also remove our app any time via Settings → Apps and Websites on Instagram.
10. Children's Privacy
Wepost is not directed to individuals under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. International Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country. By using the service, you consent to such transfers, carried out with appropriate safeguards.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
